Hi Brooks!
I'm a 17 year old lifter from Sweden, and I like your thoughts about
strength.
I will never take any drugs or "gainers," because I am only interested
in
real strength.
I'm also very interested in how the oldtimers
trained.
My favorite among them is a man who came from a village not far from
where
I live named Sixten Landby.
When he was 17 years old he decided that he
would like to bend a
horseshoe, he said that he trained when he had any "free" time and it took him 5
years
of training before he could bend a horseshoe.
He also trained with a
very
heavy dumbbell, 150-160 lb. He was never so big like the strongmen of
today,
but I think he had more useful muscles.
I attached some pictures of him when he is doing some feats strength.
I hope you understand my English and enjoy the pictures.
Do you know any man of today who could bend a horseshoe ?
Best Wishes,
Jonas

Yours in strength,
